Are Mastery-Oriented College Students Better Time Managers?

Abstract Goal orientation and time management have been major components of most self-regulated learning models. They are also especially relevant for adaptative outcomes in the field education. traditionally measured through self-reports, and, although few studies explored both variables, a positive significant relation between them has reported. However, it questioned whether people can provide accurate information about their own behavior. Therefore, there is need new less subjective measures to assess these variables. In present work, we administered objective tests study goal expand upon previous findings. Results indicated that objectively show relation. Mastery-oriented students manage more efficiently. Performance-oriented tend complete activities with lower values initiate task interruptions, resulting efficient management.
